    Hello there !

I don’t really know why, but i get some random flickers in my new project (see video)…

i have a wide spotlight in front of the letter to get the light effect on the floor, but not sure it is related.

strange also is that it seams to mimmic the iOS bad rendering i told you about in this post.
Not sure, but the shape of flicker seams similar to the black strange render on iOS…

    Hi,

No, I don’t think these both issues are related. Here we see some shadow bug, but AR iOS renderer (made by Apple) does not inherit Verge3D shadows at all.

Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce this issue on my devices. Could you please do some tweaks and see if the issue still persists:

    1) slightly reduce angle of your Spot light (making it less than 90/180 degrees).
    2) change the type of the shadows
    3) disable cast / receive setting on any objects you don’t need to cast / receive shadows

Thing is it used to work with my first test, using USD shaders, same spot, same params…

I may have changed shadows param in export settings…

changed back shadows to ESM, lowered spot from 164 to 140 wide, now it is ok.

    Many thanks !
