CustomerHi Guys,
i´m working again on this HTML Plane project we´ve been discussing about before…
Its created with Max 2025 and the latest version of Verge……
At the starting point its a first person camera……..which runs fine at the beginning
In the scene you can see several trussing constructions….showing the image of an Internett
Site…..when clicked on the small button on the right down corners ( with the finger shown)
a 3D object shows up showing the same image as on the trussing….
the camera is swapped to a different one….which is fixed ……sofar so good…as soon as this image is shown its beamed to a different position …… sofar so good…..
at the same time a HTML Plane is beamed to that position…showing the actual Homepage….
again so far so good…..now things happen which are strange……
As long as i have not moved the first person camera everything is fine……the HTML Plane
is interactive like it should……after going back….using the return button…which shows up
1…the first peson camera doesnot react to the keyboard input ( WSAD )
2… after having moved and rotated the camera ….I can still call up the HTML Plane as before
….but its not interactive anymore….it doesnot react to any Mouse action…..I had this problem a couple of month ago……we discussed about it….
I thought it would have been solved in the meantime…..https://www.gf3d.de/Roadtest_Walk/Roadtest_Walk.html
Greets and thanks for any help

xeonCustomerFrom the what it seems like…I dont think the first person camera is working properly.
It only seems to zoom but never change its position. Which is not what an first person camera should be doing. If you scroll your mouse wheel to zoom back out…after you have walked down the path..you will realize..the camera never moved.W = zoom not move…something odd about that.

Alexander KovelenovStaffStrange thing, not all icons operate correctly… Anyway, it appears you have an HTML element that powers the “plane with html” puzzle is still covering the screen preventing keys to function properly. Just remove the corresponding object after you done with closing the website and see if it works.

CustomerHi Alexander,
i was thinking the same thing that some objects were still covering the HTML Plane……
But its not….the 3D Object which fades in with the effects is moved out of the way as soon as
the HTML plane appears……the dummy which defines the position of the HTML Plane is even hidden….it is linked to the first person camera…..Using firfox all works well….any other browser doesn´t work…
really strange thing…
