I saw this being advertised in Blendernation, and wondered if it was possible to have Freestyle applied to a character whilst in 3D view so people can see the cartoon lines that he has using verge 3d.
Also what are the possibilities of using this with a site builder like wix?

I haven’t tried this yet but I believe you can achieve the freestyle effect with the Fresnel node.
As for Wix, funny you should ask. Verge3D just announced cloud hosting of their apps with one click. It gives you iframe code for posting your app in any other web page.
    Wix iframe instructions.
I just tried the new hosting feature. It is pretty slick. When your app is done, hit the little ‘world’ icon for your app in the App Manager. It uploads your app and then gives you a URL, iframe code, etc.

The wix news is great to hear, Ill be giving this a go when I update my site.
The fresnel effect is nice but not really the look Im going for, Im trying to get a drawn cartoon look from is something like this from blendernpr.org/downloads/ (the examples do a better job) I managed a merged version of NPR and Freestyle mixed with cycles.

The node material system is evolving fast in Verge3D. When I get time maybe I will try working with the Fresnel node. By tweeking the settings and making the outline color black, I have been able to get a good edge outline on past projects.

Hi, you can correct Fresnel effect using ColorRamp node as you need, but for toon shader I recommend to use another method to get a base fresnel mask. I’ve attached and example for you.
