I just updated the masterblock file and corrected the error that prevented Verge3D from parsing it.

I also added an update to the shortcuts puzzle that adds a “C” shortcut for expanding/collapsing puzzles quickly. I find it useful for organizing my workspaces by collapsing large puzzle trees.

    Enjoy! B-)

Update: New Local View Feature & Improved Search Enhancements

I’ve just released updates to Adam’s Awesome Tools with a brand new feature and major improvements to the search functionality!

First of all, the master block error is fixed.

    NEW: Local View (Shift+H)

    What it does:

[*]Press Shift+H to show only the selected block and all its connected blocks
[*]All other blocks are temporarily hidden (visual only – execution is unaffected)
[*]Press Shift+H again to restore all blocks
[*]A Local View indicator appears in the top-right corner when active

    Perfect for:

[*]Working with complex puzzle chains in crowded workspaces
[*]Reducing visual clutter while maintaining full functionality

    IMPROVED: Enhanced Search (Shift+F)

The search feature has received significant upgrades for better usability:

    New Features:

[*]Automatic parent expansion – Collapsed parent blocks automatically expand when navigating to their children
[*]Smart highlighting – Highlights only the specific block (not including children) with a clean blue border
[*]Debounced search – Smoother performance with 250ms delay after typing stops
[*]Better navigation – No auto-jump on search completion. Makes it less jarring to search.
[*]Visual improvements – Cleaner highlight border without distracting effects
[*]Tab switching fixes – Improved handling when switching tabs with expanded blocks

    Keyboard Shortcuts:

[*]Arrow Up/Down – Navigate results within the current tab
[*]Arrow Left/Right – Switch between tabs
[*]Enter – Jump to highlighted result
      [*]Esc – Close search

    How to Update

Simply update your plugin files from the repository. The Local View block will appear in your toolbox, and the Improved Search will automatically use the new features.

    Hotkeys:

      [*]Shift+H – Toggle Local View
      [*]Shift+F – Open Improved Search

Let me know if you have any questions or feedback!

    Update: Multi-Select Support Added

    Hey everyone,

I’ve just pushed a new update to Adam’s Verge3D Tools — multi-select is now supported.

    Multi Selection

This has been my major request for workflow improvements, and it makes a big difference when working with larger scenes or doing batch operations.

    What’s new:

      [*]Select multiple objects at once*
*[*]Apply transformations and operations across all selected items
[*]Streamlined workflow for scene editing and organization*
*[*]Improved usability when working with complex setups

    How to use:

      [*]Use standard multi-select behavior (Shift)*
*[*]Selected objects will be handled as a group for supported operations

    Why this matters:
If you’ve been doing repetitive adjustments one object at a time, this should significantly speed things up. It also opens the door for more advanced batch features going forward.

As always, feedback is very welcome — especially edge cases or ideas for how multi-select could be extended further.

    Cheers,
    Adam

There is also a bunch of quality-of-life updates. I suggest you just try it and see for yourself.

The github also has a description of most things.

With the new multi-select, I got inspired and added a couple more features. I am slowly getting to where puzzle manipulation feels convenient and effortless.

Circular selection. Press C to enable.

    Move puzzles between tabs.

    Move Procedures between tabs

Another major feature that I am excited to share is the ability to move procedures between tabs without losing the procedure calls. Anyone who has tried this knows the pain where all your callers disappear or your copied procedure changes name. Now you just select your puzzles and hit Shift+T and select the tab you want to move it to. You can even create a new tab by writing a new name and pressing Enter.

Works for any puzzles, but especially handy for procedures, as this was not possible before.

I have to say these improvements by Adam are so needed. They really speed up the workflow.
I think my favorite is moveable toolbar… and the ability to search for variables…ok…maybe the entire thing of moving procedures…ok well…too many great things…. Get it, download it…you will be amazed at how this makes puzzle dev so much easier!

Thank you Xeon for the kind words!

If anyone is curious what that toolbar is it looks like this. It makes some of the tools more accessible without hotkeys.

I am honestly curious if there are any people out there who use these tools actively? I know I do myself, but it would be fun to hear if there is anyone else.
