It seems possible that sanctions could prevent internet access to Russian companies. As such, do you foresee impact to the website or software license activations? Does verge 3D require an active internet connection to your servers to authenticate the license?

    Hi,

Thank you for bringing this up. Verge3D tools do not require Internet connection (except the notification about latest versions, and as version 4.0 – demo store). This website, as well as applications deployed on Verge3D Network are served from Amazon servers linked to and paid for by our EU office. So we believe there is not much to worry about.

If you are using Verge3d professionally, not as a student or just learning it, but for actual paying clients you may find paying for a license is not the issue. Having access to the Verge3d Network will not be the problem. Depending on your clients, their IT departments, their own company sanctions and/or country sanctions you might find that to be the biggest problem.
