    Actually, there should be a file “hosts” in that folder. It’s weird that it’s not there. But, anyways you have the “hosts~orig” file, which is a backup version of “hosts”, probably created during some system update.

    I think you can just try to copy “hosts~orig” into a new file “hosts” in the same directory /private/etc/ (you’ll need admin rights for that). And then reboot your Mac.

    I attempted the copy and rename with admin rights, and it returned an error message saying that a file name “hosts” already exists in that folder. I searched for “hosts” in that folder with “visible or invisible” enabled and found the invisible file that was zero bytes (weird). So I’ve deleted that file, duplicated “hosts~orig” and renamed it “hosts”. I’m going to restart now and send a terminal output in a new post soon.

    Brilliant! That did the trick. Seak Peek and App Manager are both working properly.

    Thanks so much for your help with this. I really appreciate it. This tower has 4X the RAM of any other PC I’m using, so it’s great to have it in the workflow now.

    Hello there, im having the same problem than "Holt_interactive" : App manager doesnt work. I have download the zip file to replace the server.py file and try to run blender from the terminal and blender opens but the terminal shows the attached view. I hope you can help me, thanks :)

    Never mind , i delete and rename file hosts and works !!!
