    Hi Yuri,
Yesterday I saw your presentation on YouTube at the blenderconference.
First of all. I was once fired myself and this was a very bad experience so thumbs up what you guys decided to make out of it.

So I am new to this topic and I want to know how secure are models being transferred into the browser. How easy is it to “steal” the models, textures and so on that it can be used by others. Customers giving their models have an interest to protect the design etc.

Can you tell me about it
    and thanks in advance

Hi faceless! Thank you for the interest in Verge3D and for your kind words!

Regarding your question, the bad news is that everything published online can be ripped off. For example, YouTube videos can be ‘grabbed’ with a proper tool, even if they are not intended for downloading. :-(

The good news is that with Verge3D your models are published in exported format which is not very suitable for editing. ;-)

We have also plans to implement encryption for published 3D data to fully protect an author’s IP from stealing. :)

    Hi Yuri,

Yes I am aware that all digital stuff can be ripped off. But I am glad to hear that your format semms to keep away the “normal bad guys” from stealing.
So the more it takes to ripp the less People want to do it.
