    Hi

Very New to verge3d and tried and had no problems with trial version when it came to publishing my project.
After purchasing a freelance license I Get this error when I go to publish “Failed to receive Verge3D Network credentials, possibly due to connection error.”
Today I even reinstalled and before putting the license key, tested publishing in the trial again and it worked. Then sure enough after putting in license it gives me the error.

Am I missing something? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

    Hi,

sorry for those troubles. Can you reach us out to share your license details with us so that we double check? (could not find your email in our license registry)

We tried that key and it works. Could you double check – is there any software blocking ports (windows defender etc)?

The trial version worked with no problems when publishing the model. Reinstalled verge3d to test this. License version however spits out this error.

And Checked the firewall and all is good as far as Blender.exe(Unless this isn’t the one in question for port access). But why would the trial version publishing work but licensed doesn’t. Noticed Freelance does support the verge 3d network.

Uninstalled and publishing works through trial version

    Hello,

I am using the trial version and following the Swiss Army Knife tutorial. I can’t Publish at all. I get the message “Failed to receive Verge3D Network credentials” every time.

I really hope to get this working. If I can get it working I can justify getting the licensed version.

    Hi,

If you are using Blender, can you please check for any errors in the Blender Console window (Window -> Toggle System Console menu)?

If you running Verge3D for 3ds Max or Verge3D for Maya, please open the App Manager by clicking on the Desktop/Start icon and then switching to the opened terminal window. Then check the output of that window.

    Hi,
    thanks for sharing this info.

Does the following host works for you (the page should include the combination of numbers and characters)?

    https://auth.soft8soft.com/get_anon_key

    Hello,

I’m not sure what to do with that. Am I supposed to paste it somewhere?

No where in the App Manager does it show that I can change the host.

When I open the App Manager the URL shows localhost:8668, if that means anything.

I reinstalled Blender but it still doesn’t work. I have Blender 2.92.0 and I am on Window 10 Pro.

The funny thing is I have the same Blender version and Windows at the office and it doesn’t work there either. I wanted to show my boss the power of Verge3D but I guess I just have to wait for the update and cross my fingers that the bug will be fixed.

    Hi,

could you try navigating to https://auth.soft8soft.com/get_anon_key using your web browser? what does it output for you?

Looks really strange, considering you can successfully connect to the Verge3D Network via web browser. Maybe you have some tricky antivirus software or firewall which blocks connections originated from Blender?
