    I’m trying to use the clipping plane helper in 3Ds Max, but I can’t select the object on which it is applied.
    The dropdown where I should select it is empty.
    I can’t find any documentation, either.
    Does anyone know how to use them?

    Maybe it should be a group of objects? For example, in Blender the influence can be applied only to groups aka collections.

    Solving any problems with Puzzles or JS code. Fast and expensive.

    You need to create a selection set (select your objects and then edit–>manage selection set–>create new set).
