    Hey,

I want to blend/mix two textures based on vertex color.
This works with Physical Material, but not with GLTF Material.
Appling the vertex color directly to the GLTF Material works fine, which confirms that vertex color is working with GLTF as well.
I tried mix, mix(OSL) and composite nodes.

Is it possible to blend two textures based on vertex color while using a GLFT material?

    Thanks and best,
    Gerald

    Hi Gerald,
Unfortunately, glTF materials are intentionally simplified during the export to make them conformant with the glTF 2.0 standard. Hence, it’s not possible to use any advanced node systems for them. If using Physical materials is not an option you will have to bake the color into the vertex color channel or use a texture.
