    Hi there,

i have a question about the attenuation settings in 3D Max.

    I work with 3dmax 2021……

I work with the Version 4.0.1 of Verge at the moment.

I noticed that the attenuation of standard light ( Spot and omni )
doesn´t work anymore…..It did before as far as i noticed.

These settings are not saved in the gltf file…..

maybe you guys can check this, because it is a very important
    feature handling light….

    Greets and thanks

    Hi Ger,

could you please reproduce this issue in a simplistic scene and share the .max file?

    Hi yuri,

hereby the Max file you asked for…..normally and it was lieke that

until the latest release of verge you should not see any light on the floor…..now you see the light although the attenuation is set
in such a way that no light should reach the floor at all.
The attenuation now only affects the shadow…..

Indeed there was a bug and we just fixed it! The fix will land in the next preview build of v.4.2. :good:
