When I was trying to imitate the solder joint animation of industrial robots, I found that verge3d didn’t seem to be able to correctly recognize the animation effect, because it didn’t have any movement, I had checked the export Settings and other issues, and I also tried to synchronize all verge3d parameters (although I knew that some parameters didn’t affect the animation effect…), but the results are still the same…

You need to use only Slate Material Editor, then add special controllers for a node you need to animate and animate that controllers not material params. See the example below.

    hi!Thanks for your answer!
I’m sure I did exactly what you described, adding a node controller, animating it, etc., but I still can’t export the animation,

    OH!!!
I think I have found the cause of the problem. Through experiments, I found that when I switch 3dsmax language to English, the animation can be normally exported, but when I switch 3dsmax language to the official language of my country, the animation cannot be exported!!!So I think this problem is due to the language aspect of 3dsmax!

    Hi,

Yes, this is a known issue with material animation in non-English versions of 3ds Max. Hopefully we’ll fix it in the future.

    OH!
Thanks to the efforts of the development team, I like this application very much, but I still hope to support 3dsmax modifier as soon as possible! :yahoo: :good: :good:
