Hi, I read several previous posts about installing issues on a Mac (macOS Mojave version 10.14.6 – Maya 2020) and I have installed it manually and I can see the bin “verge3d,pv” in the Plug-in Manager window but when I click “Loaded” I will still the “…/pluginWin 317: (verge3d)” error. And if I click any of the commands under the “Verge3D” pull tab Maya will crash OR another error message… no commands work. I also noticed in the Plug-in Manager window the symbol “i” within a filled circle is still grey out – not like the other working plugins.

I have installed it on my Maya 2019 version and the same results.

I’d appreciate any help on this… I saw Verge3D on a NASA site and the software is amazing.

    Hi,
Unfortunately, we’re updating our macs regularly, as such we tested recent Verge3D releases on Catalina and Big Sur only. Can you do the same or maybe test on some newer device?

Also, please check you installed Python as recommended in the manual.

I’ve install Python before attempting to Verge3D on the Mac. Luckily, I have a PC and Verge3D is working on the PC. I just wish I could get it working on the Mac (my main animating computer). thanks…
