I’m building a virtual expo booth prototype and exploring how to implement in-app calls using the outside platforms, like Zoom, Skype, GoogleMeet, or anything else. The simplest solution would be to open a new tab that would transfer the user to the actual call page, but this would disrupt the whole idea of an immersive app.
Here’s the prototype:

At this point, zoom calls are just a prop, obviously :)

Marcin,

I am also working on this option so that one can have a live meeting in 3d scene itself.
Simplest approach to open new tab is very basic but if that can be implemented by using the zjbcool addon… it will add substabtial value to scene.
I am asking some questions to zjbcool on the similar ground.
The bet part I liked is – the addon enables a iframe video texture and that too yo ucan control all video functions such as volume, stop, play & pause by clicking on that texture ! :D

Its kind of a new feature all together t oV3D scenes !

Thanks, guys, I’ll experiment a bit and report back! I got the addon, used for embedding YouTube video, works after some tweaking of the scales.

Since I am also after similar lines research I will also share..however mine is more with industrial & engineering applications.

But still end of the day what you are trying to integrate I am also working on similar lines.
