Hi, I see there is the ability to export a converted .gltf model within the Verge3D project by adding puzzles – is this possible in ANY capacity for a USDZ? (Like with custom JS script e.t.c)

I know that Sketchfab allows a USDZ export and that’s a WebGL platform, any thoughts?

    Hi,

there are some third-party tools to allow that, e.g.

Hi Yuri, thanks for getting back to me.

Is this compatible with verge3D? Is it possible to run this on your web server and it run automated when a user clicks a button?

USDZ files are viewed using Apple’s proprietary technology called AR Quick Look https://developer.apple.com/augmented-reality/quick-look/
It is not WebGL, and as such is out of scope of Verge3D.

Okay thanks! Hopefully the WebXR tech matures a bit and allows full device compatibility not too long in the future.

It should happen sooner rather than later! :good:

We have great news! You can now export Verge3D to USDZ and then preview your asset in AR mode.
