upload image like custom products to 3d scene

I made the swis knife tutorial, and I understand more or less the workflow.
At this point, I want to make a applying user-provided images as textures in the 3D scene, I was searching some tutorials in this forum, but I can’t find any.

I followed the youtube tutorial swissknife. I managed to replace the texture by clicking on the object. But I can’t manage to do it by html buttons. I would like to do something similar to this: https://barebonemedia.nl/2020/05/12/3d-card-design/ –
Would it be possible to have a demo of a puzzle about this?

I have been trying this tutorial (https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/introduction/HTML-based-user-interfaces.html) from your documentation, but when I try to run the app, it kind of ignores the puzzles. Where am I going wrong?
