    Hi,
I have some questions about the Verge’s frames per second.

In the Every Frame Puzzle. it says it “Triggers puzzles placed inside the “do” slot every rendering frame (normally at the rate of 60 frames per second).

What would the alternative to “normally” be?
when blender exports at it’s default of 24 fps? What determines any change in that?

I have set my blender project files’ fps to be at 60fps to match with Verges’s ie: what it says in the Every Frame Puzzle info.

I’m working with a lot of animation timelines, so I’m keeping in mind frames per second vs other factors.

Does Verge automatically scale up timelines to fit it’s own frames per second setting?
Is there a way to change Verge3D’s frames per second?
is verge’s fps irrelevant compared to the blend files’ fps?

    thanks!

    Hi,

Blender’s animation frame rates are different from WebGL rendering frame rate. The 60 FPS value is hardcoded in the browser. If it is not possible to achieve 60 frames per second, the browser halves it to 30, then to 15 and so on.

So this Every Frame Puzzle is triggered by real-time rendering. The length of an animation is not affected by WebGL’s frame rate.
