    Please help me

Request a ring carving tutorial or puzzle

This is a little difficult for a novice

I’m using MAYA. It may not be very smooth

Carvings on rings in the demo are normal maps. There is a puzzle that can generate normal maps from texts. You just generate a normal map and replace a mesh’s normal map with the generated one. That’s all.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

    Yes, I understand the principle
But don’t understand how Puzzle implements this function
I used Google Web Designer to edit a web page where I could enter text
But I don’t know how to say words to pass to puzzles
I can’t find the text message
AND HOW TO SET IT UP IN MAYA

What do you want exactly? To create an app capable of engraving on objects or you just want to generate several normal maps to use them in MAYA?

Create an application capable of carving objects
At present, I don’t know how to convert text information into normal map
Then, map the normal to the model

Do you have Verge3D for MAYA installed? Did you examine the Jewelry configurator demo’s puzzles?

    Yes, I have

I just can’t understand how the jigsaw puzzle is realized

But I have found the answer from the forum

    Thank you
