Please find below some advice that may help us resolve your issue faster.
First of all, make sure that you are using the latest Verge3D version available for download. You can check your current version in the App Manager.
Update your Verge3D installation and the applications if this is not the case.
Try to narrow it down to obtain a minimal Verge3D project that still reproduces it. Compress it with zip and attach to the topic (beware of 4Mb limit), or upload the zip file to Verge3D Network or a third-party hosting and provide a link to that zip archive.
Provide a screenshot/video that shows the issue clearly, or provide a launching link to the narrowed down project published on Verge3D Network or elsewhere.
Please specify the following information:
- Browser/operating system: e.g. Chrome 73 / Window 10, Safari / iOS 12
- What steps will reproduce the problem?
- What is the expected result?
- What happens instead?
Please open the browser console and paste the output to the topic (or attach a file). The console usually be opened with the F12 key (Chrome, Firefox on Windows, Linux). On Mac use the View > Developer > JavaScript Console menu (Option-Cmd-J) in Chrome, or the Develop > Show Error Console menu (Option-Cmd-C) in Safari.
If you have a rendering/materials issue, please provide us with the following info:
- Graphics card: e.g. GeForce GTX 1080
- Visit the page soft8soft.com/webglreport and attach screenshots of both tabs.
- If in Chrome, visit the page
chrome://gpu/
and attach the output as a plain text file to the topic.
If you have an export issue (such as crash), please attach the output of MAXScript Listener (if in 3ds Max) or System console (if in Blender).

Hi,
From the screenshot you posted it appears that Blender still refers to the old verge3d version, because it says 2.16.1 in the addon preferences. I suppose that this is the cause of the issue.
Can you tell us how you updated verge3d to the new version? I suggest following these tutorials to avoid installation issues: Updating for New Versions and Installation – Verge3D for Blender
Also, it’s better to check that Blender doesn’t refer to verge3d addon in the File Paths -> Scripts option:
