Puzzles within Procedures Called only Once?

Hi
question..
when a procedure is called, do the puzzles in it only get called JUST the one time it is called, or does that call the puzzles to be going on endlessly?
i’d think not because .. that’s the purpose for an “every frame” puzzle.
for instance.. a “on click” puzzle.. just out in the open not contained by a procedure… would ALWAYS listen for a click.

what if a “on click” is placed in a procedure?
will it keep on listening once the procedure is called?
or ONLY once.. and i have to put the “on click” within an “on every frame” puzzle?
