Hello,

there is a way to you make a puzzle to swap a specific material by name assigned in an object with multiple materials assigned?

For exemple:

I have an object named house and I want to change the material of the wall paiting named “Oak” to another material named “Teka”. The Object house has other materials assigned in other parts, metalics, hooftop, doors, etc…

and I dont want to make this especific parts to be unique objects, it has to be all in the object named House.

If yes, it would be very helpfull!

Hello again,

I searched ind the decumentation section and found a puzzle to replace a texture in a material to another. And another that I can get the name of an specific material assigned in to an object. The problem is that I cant switch an assigned material to another material. Do you know anything that I can do to solve it, if not in a puzzle, programming?

Hi,

Sorry but the engine design restricts it to be only one material per object. However, you can use groups/collections to operate your objects as a single entity.
