    Hi Folk,

First congrats, Verge looks like a pretty smart tool. I’m a 2d animator and programmer that’s just starting to take 3d seriously and Verge looks like it has a lot of promise.

I’m trying to display a smoke simulation from the most recent version of blender, but when I use the “peek” option it’s just showing up as a solid form in place of the domain object.

Are those new blender smoke simulations something not supported yet or do you think I may need to set some different settings in order to enable them?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Hi,
cortrah verge 3d doesn’t support any kind of simulations, because they are performance-hungry, the only way for you to create smoke simulation is with programming :bye:

Ok thanks Haris. Good to know up front. Still looks like a good tool.

You can render simulation to a video file and apply it to a plane with track to constraint looking at the camerra and play this video as a smoke. I know it’s very superficial explanation, but have no time for making tutorial or an example for now.
