Hi community, hope you are all healthy and save.

I’ve been wrecking my brain about this but i have this animation that plays in steps (like a tutorial). Now i just want to add a button that allows the user to take a step back in the animation.

So for instance I have animation of 250 frames and I want a button that always goes 25 frames forward&pauzes and a second button that always goes 25 frames backward&pauzes..

In my mind this is easy!! But i’m still learning :mail:
And in the time to come i have the free time to become a freaking expert B-)

    Hi,

in order to play an animation in reverse, use the reversed checkbox of the puzzle

    Hui Yuri.

Super thanks.. this might also work.

But i was wondering is there is a way to code a button to go play 25 frames forward and pauze regardless of where on the timeline the animation is?

And the same for 25 frames reverse animation regardless where it is on the timeline?

You will need to count from each frame you need to play by yourself using different variables. For example you need a viriable where you will have current frame each time animation stops, then transfer it to the last frame of playing in the play animation node + or – 25 frames and so on. It wil be little complex setup, not just using one puzlle.

To bad.. in my head it seemed so simple.

It would make one awesome add on though.. then we can make 3D tutorials with the option to step back

Thanks anyway and stay save people, hope to see you again soon
