CustomerAre you seriously asking me to pay $290 for a version that should be included in my current license?
It’s really disappointing to see this kind of thing happening in the industry. Instead of offering a proper solution, you’re trying to profit from what seems to be a flaw in your licensing system, without giving me any clear explanation.I truly believed in your project — I was amazed by its potential. But today, I feel let down. This is not fair, and I urgently need to finish my first paid project using Verge3D.

StaffHi Ignacio,
Sorry for the troubles. It is not necessary to renew your license to continue working with Verge3D. The license is perpetual, and the only limitation is that it covers up to 12 months of maintenance subscription, aka software updates (BTW, the price for renewing the Freelance license is only $145).
So I kindly ask you to do the following: install the latest Verge3D version available for your license (Verge3D 4.8), and apply your old license key. That should get it into good standing. Please let me know how it works for you.

CustomerHi Yuri,
It worked.. thanks for the assistance.2025-05-24 at 7:45 am #82138Alexander Kovelenov
StaffGlad you worked it out!
You might need to enter the license key a new in that case.
Sorry for not making this clear enough. I meant entering your older key, not purchasing a new one!

CustomerHi,
I’ve picked up a Blender project I was working on using Verge3D, and to my surprise, after updating both Blender (4.4.3) and Verge3D (4.9.2), the meshes are no longer visible in the scene. I can only see the outline when I hover the mouse over them.
The objects use very simple materials—just solid colors, nothing complex.
Has anyone experienced this issue or knows what might be causing it?I’m attaching screenshots for reference.
Please note that what appears in the captures as an “i” icon are annotations—when clicked, they display additional information. Thanks in advance!

CustomerI’m attaching the screenshots as well as the configuration from Blender. Before updating both programs, everything worked fine. I’m not sure if the update requires materials to be applied differently in order for the objects to be visible when running Verge3D. All the meshes are set up the same way in terms of materials.

StaffThe console shows your app still uses an outdated engine runtime from Verge3D 4.3.1 causing crash with newly exported assets. Please update your application by following this guide.

ParticipantSee the very first line on your first screenshot…
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

CustomerThat was the first thing I tried. I also tested the second method from the guide—creating a new project and overwriting the files—but that didn’t work either.
I don’t understand why, if I have the application updated, when I create a new project and run it, the console still shows that the Verge3D engine version is 4.3.1.

App Manager includes a failsafe method to prevent your apps from switching from the licensed version to unlicensed (trial). Please update your license or stick to the latest version available (I believe it’s 4.6).

CustomerHi,
I had to install version 4.5.1 of Verge3D in order for it to work properly. Even so, when I open the console, it still shows that the engine version is 4.3.1 (not the version I installed).
I assume I won’t be able to update to newer versions anymore, although when the tool was purchased, we understood that the license was perpetual and that the payment was for technical support, not for updates to the tool.
Thank you very much for the support.Attachments:

StaffHi,
4.5.1 version should be available for you. Please enter your license key anew, then update your application to see if the issue is resolved.
In general, the license is perpetual, and you are eligible for all Verge3D updates issued within 12 months since the day you purchased the license. We’re going to keep it this way.
