Hello, just tried Verge3D today, and as stated in an other topic few monthes ago, Verge3D forces users to define the Script path in blender for Verge3d.
However Script path is made for portability, so users can have their addons library accross several installs of blender without having duplicates and stuff.
So right now i either have to have one blender for modeling an one for using verge, or have to switch the path depending of the usage, but i can’t have my addons and verge3d working at the same time, that’s unfortunate.
When it comes to defining specific path, other addons have a property in the addon preferences itself, it would be nice that verge3d follows this way as it puts no constraints on the users.

Thanks for the consideration

You must be doing something different than usual in your setup. I’ve never had this problem or ever heard of it conflicting with any add on except boxcutter which there is an easy workaround for.

Which directory are you using? Roaming? Iv documents?

My setup is as follow:

[*]Blender[/*]

[*]AddonsAssets[/*][*]Blender 2.8x[/*][*]Blender Linux 2.8x[/*][*]Scripts[/*]

[*]addons[/*][*]modules[/*][*]presets[/*][*]startup[/*]

This way i can have fully portable Blender, even several OS version using the same addon folder (the Scripts folder is like the one that is in the Blender installation). No need to duplicate addons accross Blenders

I see no reason why to use this path specifically for Verge. Even the fact there are executables inside. UV Packmaster, Quadremesher and others have executables too, and still don’t use this folder, and even let you choose the path to it.

Edit: Will reformat the list later
