PWA not working need a little help

Hi
guys I enabled PWA option in one of my test scenes but still I am unable to locate it when opened in chrome.
What am I missing?

and second question
Do get PWA to check in local server mode also ? OR it needs to be online only?

PWA applications should display the installation button in Chrome:

Regarding web server (local or online), it should not be required once the application caches all its assets on the first run.

Its not happening on my machine. I am trying to see a fix.

I am also trying to take leverage of this option in VR where the server set of VR experience built can be installed or stored on Quest like devices directly.

Check out manifest.json file in the app media folder. This should include “name”, “start_url”, and some icons. Also check Network tab in the Chrome console to see if the manifest.json is actually loaded by your HTML.

Ahh ! that helped.
Got it fixed on desktop / laptop.

Is this PWA supported in metabrowser ? any idea?

Yes, you can even distribute PWAs via Meta Quest store, however it will require manual tweaking. See here for more information.

Yes !
I was referring to it. it has a slight long curve adjustments.
