FullScreen puzzle, Not Working on Chrome iOS?

Hi,

I used the fullscreen puzzle which was a great help for my app. But, for some reason it is not working on Chrome on my mobile.

It has worked on a Samsung phone however, so I’m not sure what could be missing here.

Are you sure you’re trying it in Chrome and not in Safari?

Yes in Chrome. I will upload a screen recording.

I see. Indeed Chrome on iOS won’t work since it is based on iOS WebView which, similar to Safari, does not support the fullscreen feature yet.

Thanks for the info.

What would be the current workaround to enable fullscreen (as an option, or indeed forced) for my application on mobile?

Does the puzzle piece need to be updated?

For now, I’m using the options for if fullscreen is not available, ‘do something’.

Just tried and safari is also not allowing this to be done. Can we not control like with a Youtube video etc, to enable fullscreen?

Would a wok around be to enable overflow on my page, so a user can swipe up on the iframe (which is restricted to 100%), thus reoving the top bar?

You can manually hide all icons to get most possible view of the app, but fullscreen mode blocked on device side, it’s something out of the engine possibilities to enable it.
