    Hi,

I’d consider this a bug – If skinned mesh deformed by an animated armature is set as the hovered object target for the When Hovered puzzle, the user’s pointer doesn’t seem to initiate the desired effect when over the animated mesh. Rather, it looks like the rest pose of the mesh is used, even thought it’s different from what the user sees on screen.

Possible to fix it so that the animated skinned mesh as seen on screen is used as the trigger for the puzzle?

    Thank you.

    Hi masj,

This unfortunately is a limitation of the GPU-based skinning algorithm we use. We’ll think what we can do here.

    Thank you, Yuri!

Really appreciate you and the team for everything you’re doing for the 3D creators out there, and for giving this specific point some time to think on – sounds like a tough problem.
Fingers crossed that you and the team will be able to find a solution – would be amazing! :yahoo:
