    Hi Verge3D team.

Is there any plans to implement some more stats/profiling features? I am currently trying to make a simple setup for the stats.js. I know there is a print performance info and that is a good start, but something like the stats.js where you could see some basic info like FPS live in the main browser window would be great for testing, especially for testing on different devices like mobile phones.

    Hi,

In addition to the print performance info puzzle you mentioned, you can use Chrome’s native FPS counter for basic performance measuring:

In order to enable the FPS counter on mobile, you can use port forwarding (tested myself, it works).

Did not know about the FPS meter, will have a look at it. However i think something like this would be nice to have directly in the engine, then we could compare oranges to oranges so to speak. But i guess this might be more of a “nice to have” feature, so just a suggestion for later. Thanks.

You can also track frame rate performance when recording your app with the Performance tab in Chrome/Firefox. Chrome will also save screenshots which was super helpful in my case.
