    Hi, with the new refraction/transmission changes in 3.6.1, my glass renders black

    I was wondering what settings need to be used now for glass to work and take advantage of the new refraction feature? Cheers.

    This new feature changing how the transperency work. If you set thin-wall settings this wil work as usual alpha opacity (as earlier) if you leav it unchecked this will work as a refraction of the environment map (only environment), if you have no environment it will be rendered as black.

    Hmmm, you mean environment map as in a HDRI map using aiSkyDomeLight? Because I have that but it still renders black :scratch:

    I have the same dilemma, mirrors and windows render black 😳
