    Hi All,

I have a client who wants a 3d configurator for some wooden structures and I’m hoping to use Verge but coming across a problem.. the beams

They need to change in width and height but keep the same thickness, usually I would use a solidify modifier for this but obviously thats a no go, I also tried shape keys but because of the way the geometry works it changes the thickness of the beam at the full height and width, see images below

    null

    Thank you for any help

There is no puzzle based solidify approach.

Shape keys are designed to do this and will work properly if implemented as needed for Verge3d.

There are many options and key frame methods that work on blender but produce warped effects in Verge3d.

Without seeing your blend file I can only suggest you look at your key frames and insure you are keying only one shapekeys to 1 and all others to 0. You can then mix them properly without distortion via puzzles.
