c4ccCustomerHow do I get each emission beam’s to have a red emission like the first one? I also need each emission red to flow left to right – how do I set up multiple values in a combine xyz factor for each emission beam so the red emission flows left to right?
Blend file as attached

xeonCustomerthis is another option if you need it to traverse all the objects

Thanks for trying – while this is the effect I need, it only work for separate objects. I need all the objects joined as one together for this effect – I tried to separate the materials, and it didn’t work – any way to get this effect while all objects are joined? Thanks

Sofar my workaround for this is to create multiple emission materials with their values changed, but I wonder if you know a way to keep one material emission with multiple values so your initial result can be achieved with one material emission on one object

This one works, thanks

xeonCustomerI wasn’t sure which option you really needed. The more info you can give in your statement of the problem the better. It will help anyone trying to provide a solution to have all the info. I am glad the second option worked.

c4ccCustomerSorry for not being clear, I was busy recently

I need this emission style, but with all the objects joined together – better still if it’s just one emission material

xeonCustomerWell…using the Option 2 blend file… take the two object and join them.
If you want to create this as a single object with a single material, then I would remodel your objects. Create a new UV map, new color ramp that has both colors in it…then you should be good.Xeon

Here’s how I solved the problem when I needed one flowing emission material for a single object’s individual segments
