2025-07-23 at 2:24 am #83270bise ParticipantHello everyone, I just got started with Verge3D For Blender.
The problem I encountered is that when I add a decal with alpha to the glass material,
the entire decal disappears in the output HTML.This problem seems to only occur on decal images with alpha, and there is no problem with images without alpha. How can I make the decal with alpha appear in the HTML output by Verge3D? 2025-07-23 at 3:13 am #83271 xeonCustomer xeonCustomerCould you share the material nodes or a simple project containing a basic cube, with the decal on it…so it can be reviewed and determine what is happening? Its more than likely the material shading network you have created so we need to see that to be able to comment. Xeon

The following link is to the project file and blend file – ZIP file.
https://v3d.net/1apjThe project can be viewed here:
https://v3d.net/1apkYour original objects and materials are on the left lens.
The new object, new UV map and new materials on the right. If you would like to discuss this in detail I can be reached at xeons3dlab [at] gmail [dot] com. The important bit of information is keep glass simple and decals simple. – Xeon Xeon

The key is not to use decals. 2025-07-28 at 3:53 am #83356 xeonCustomer xeonCustomerDecals work… you can even use Decal Machine … the thing you have to be careful of is that all the materials nodes must be compatible with V3D. The other thing you don’t want to do from a performance stand point is use unique geometry to contain your decal. It will cause z fighting and be a waste of memory. Other than that decals are all good. Xeon
