    Hi,

I’m trying to get some texture happening on my paint material, and in VRay I was using Noise and that worked great.

I’m exporting my objects online and of course have converted my materials to Physical ones, yet the Noise for my paint isn’t coming out, not matter what settings I’m using.

Which begs the question – is Noise actually supported ?

I’ve tried putting it into the bump and displacement slots, nothing happens on my live test site, but in Sneak Peek, I see very ‘wrong’ noise.

Please can you advise ? (Am I supposed to use textures ?).

    Many thanks.

No, it’s not suppoerted yet, only gradients will work for now. Better to bak all textures to a simple images.

    Hi,

Noise textures are baked to regular textures upon export. However, you need to specify the “Explicit Map Channel” coordinate source to make them work in Verge3D.

I’ll add this task to our TODO list since the feature is rather important.
