    Hi there,

i would like to show some samples of projects i created with
    3DMax and Verge3d.

Some Projects might take a bit to load….( Big Data ) depending
on the hardware of your computer.

It runs for some reasons best on Google Chrome ( latest version )

you might look into optimizing your apps. If you print the performance profile (hot keys P-P-P) you’ll see that some of your scenes use excessive amount of light sources (up to several dozens of them!) This may result in a very slow rendering on some devices. Also you probably optimize the texture space.

    Hi there,

you are right there are quite some lights in the szene….but not several dozens of them…lol
and yes I know about the performance….but since some are “arty” projects of mine and the fact that i want this specific look….using
mostly non PBR materials…..only where metalic refelctions are needed
    thats ok for me……

    The Textures could be optimized….

I created another project with several Videos integrated.

    http://www.gf3d.de/video_texture_GF3D/video_texture.html

there ar hotspots in the szene that should be found….
In this project all off the shadows on the floor are in the floor texture…excep for those of animated objects…..

All of the textures are optimized as much as possible…

so just have a look and have fun.

    Hi Guys,

    i´ve uploaded a new project.

    https://www.gf3d.de/Eventroom_A/Eventroom_A.html

Its a project for Event Companies.

All of the shadows you see are in the Textures….
The lighting Effects on the walls und on the Big Screen that separates the 2 Rooms are textures as well. All the rest is real lights again

The only thing that doesn´t run well is the movie on the Big LED Screen on the stage.
When its not in Fullscreen all is Fine.

When in Fullscreen the movie doesn´t run smoothly. when i move the camera closer to the stage it runs fine again….strange issue.

The movie is only 36 MB big.

Do you have any idea why?

    Hi Ger,

I think FPS is too low. For me it is just 2-3 frames per second. I strongly recommend you to optimize your scene. The way it is now is not really suitable for commercial use, because Internet users may have very different hardware, and for most of them your app won’t be accessible at all.

    Hi Yuri,

    The project is optimized now…..

    http://www.gf3d.de/Eventroom_A/Eventroom_A.html

All of the textures is all together 4,4 MB….
The compressed 3D data is all together less than 10 MB

Ok there is 112 Lights but they are not running all at the same time…
There is only 3 lights casting shadows…..

All of the shadows are in the textures, except for the shadows casted by the man on the stage ( the 3 lights casting shadows )

this project is not meant to be used on “small PC´s”
Its meant for presentation purpose on the more high level PC.
Its runs fine on my PC, 8 GB Graphisboard, 16 GB Ram, Windows 10 and
    Google Chrome.
Loading time is less then 20 Seconds over the Internett.
The size of the Video is 18 MB

But i´m still having the problem with the video which i don´t understand.

When its not in fullscreen the video runs fine. no matter what camerapostion.
In Fullscreen it doesn´t run smoothly when the camerapostion is
in the starting postion. when i move closer to the stage it runs fine.

Any other camerapostion is fine as well, even when the screen is not
    in the cameraview.
I notice that the video is not running smoothly because the sound
starts stuttering when in the fartest camerapostion.

    any ideas?

    Hi Yuri,

    I found a solution for the problem….

I was able to reduce the amount of light by 24…..
It is the lights in the 6 bar on the stage….which created the light effect inside of the lamps ( 6 lights x 4 colors = 24 lights)

The effects is now done by texture…

And now the video runs fine….

    Thanks for your help.

Now the final version is online….really happy now…

I integrated another video in the final version.
The first one is a compilation of images i created over the years
    for pitches for events.
the second one is a 8 min video i did a couple of years ago for
    Philips netherlands.

    Hope you like it…

    Hi Ger,

Thanks for sharing your new project!

I’d like to point your attention to some issues that you might address. If you run the performance profiling feature, it will show that there are 59 lights on the scene (which is an overkill), and the shader called “Metal” is rendered for too long. See the attach.

    Hi Yuri,

again…I know it has lots of lights…..But its meant for more high performance PC´s…..at my PC it starts within seconds…runs with
60FPS and has no problem with shader performance….

    But thanks for your comment…

you must have a beefy machine :) but many Internet users may be equipped with only mediocre hardware

I know….but for that purpose i have a minimum requirement on my page.

    my maschine isn´t that beefy……
