    Hello,

I’ve got some problems under 3dsmax with “look at” animation constraint.
It works in 3dsmax, but not in Verge3D :
The objectA is linked to objectB, then look at a objectC, both objects B and C are animated.

Then i remembered that the Industrial robot demo is available for 3dsmax, so i took 2 objects from this demo, one mesh and one dummy.
I have used those into my scene, and it works…

Any special thing to know about look at constraint to make it work with Verge3D ?

    with “look at” animation constraint.

What’s this? The look at puzzle just moves the camera’s point of view to the selected object’s origin. What “animation constraint” are you talking about?

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

I’m talking about the “look at” constrain in 3dsmax, for animation purpose.

    Hi Naxos CG,

have you bake your animation keyframe ? before to export in gltf for your “puzzle” dev. ?
(i use the same constraint for a fanuc robot animation too)
dummy etc… needs to be baked in each frame of your timeline)

For me i have two 3dsmax scene file
i don’t create animation in the “app manager files”, i import my scene in fbx file format and it baked all my keyframe. I used a “template empty scene” (just dome and HDR picture environment)

i try many solutions before that, (it’s far for me), this one works for me.
    See you Best Regards
