JohnsonCustomerHi Soft8Soft!
Came across this on the internet, from a developer that is using ray-traced SSR w/ three.js– is this something that could be possibly coming with V3D 4.0? I’m guessing this is a new development in three.js…
Really looking forward to what’s next for Verge3D, as always!

ParticipantThat’s not for using in dynamics. That could be a possibility to render a good-looking screenshot.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

JohnsonCustomer@kdv That looks amazing!!! This would only be for use on an extremely powerful PC, which is in a gallery/museum setting to push the limits of v3d and three.js– not so much an accessible project for use on many devices.
How would one add this to a v3d project? Could you explain this to me, as an artist that is gradually learning development, pretty please?

I just used this demo https://cdn.soft8soft.com/demo/examples/index.html?q=path#webgl_renderer_pathtracer
I don’t know how to make it work in the standard Verge3D apps…Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

ParticipantOr maybe I already know ))) It’s not dynamic SSR/Ray tracing, it’s just a path traced rendering.

ParticipantOne more variant (light tracing). Renders much faster.
