Hi all… i’m new to Verge3D. I’m mainly a designer, but for a project i need to get into developing a webgl virtual exposition and want to test Verge3D to see if meets what i need… but what i’ve seen, it looks that it does… but i need to tray more

I got a question… let’s imagine i have a room, where the user has to move in first person… he can walk, see around, pan and tilt, but is it possible to have the camera with a fixed height always?

    How would you do that?

Another question comes to mind.. i have a screen where there’s this texture, and when clicked it, it launches a video (yes, i have played with the video texture example)… once the video is finished, how to come back to the original texture?

Well… great to be here and i hope you can help me with this questions!!

    Cheers!!

sure, you can attach a collision material to the camera
    e.g. in Blender https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/blender/Camera.html#firstperson_camera_settings

i have a screen where there’s this texture, and when clicked it, it launches a video (yes, i have played with the video texture example)

just like in that example, you replace the texture with the video, and when it is finished playing, switch back to the image

version 3.7 which we just released has the puzzle get playback time that you can probably use to detect if a video has finished playing

HI Yuri.. thanks for your response…
I’ll take a look to the collision material…

Meanwhile, i’ve been playing with the video texture material, and i cannot achieve the switch back to the image.. what orders do you apply?

I also noticed while with one screen the video texture works fine… with 6/7 screen (and i will need a few more) the video launches in all screens at the same time, regardless the screen i touched… even copying and renaming the video does not work as supposed… am i missing something??

    Best regards,
    Troskhy
