So I’ve done a little digging and can’t see any reference to this in the forums, but there seems to be an issue where Verge3d isn’t respecting distance in Blender lights, or we can’t set the light distance at all in Blender, not sure.

    After bumping distance (and intensity)

Tweaking the distance in Developer Tools in Chrome
Fixed spotlight (had to bump up intensity as well)

It doesn’t seem like there is away to alter the distance of the light object outside of creating a custom script. Is this expected behavior? Is there a workaround I’m missing?

    Hi,
unfortunately we do not support the Custom Distance property at the moment. Maybe we’ll do it in some of our future releases.

Ok, do you have a recommendation on how to control the distance of the lights? A custom loop to pull light objects and adjust their distances?

Starting from Verge3D 3.1 you can use the Render Properties->Shadows->Light Threshold to control the threshold distance of you lights. See Blender manual for more info.

UPDATE: we supported the Custom Distance option in the recent Verge3D 3.3.0 version.
