I am currently creating a Configurator with literally thousands of possible object choices.

I want to display in the camera view (in my HTML) what I am printing (using the “Print to Console”) – ie the name of the currently selected object.

I tried to get the “Add Annotation” to work, but I can’t, but I think the better way anyway would be to to display the name of the selected object as 2D text overlaid on top of the Camera View (say, in the bottom corner of the view).

Is that possible? And how to do it?

Many thanks for any help you can give :)

Something like this can do the job

If you work with text puzzles you can create a kind of a dynamic multi-line screen console.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.
