    Blender 3.1 on OSX 12.3.1
    Verge 3.9.1

Exporting a Blend file that has modifiers on and armatures

If the Verge3D plugin settings are NOT set to bake modifiers and bake armatures we get a hard Blender crash. Hoping you can in future versions have this fail vs. crash or crash gracefully throwing a visual error that says, “try baking”…something vs. just crash.

This specifically happened when moving a file from Blender 2.9 and Verge 3.8. Settings are not the same…as we now know but it might save some people some frustrating time trying to figure out what caused Blender to crash since. Took a while to realize, the bake settings were off.

    Thanks

Hi, export crashing is not good at all! Please provide scene that causes this. Also, did you updated to the latest Blender version 3.1.2 (not using buggy 3.1.0-3.1.1 versions)?

Upgrading to 3.1.2 did solve the crash but introduced so many other issues I am at a loss on how to fix. I will be packaging up the file and creating videos of how to use it and will be sending it along in the next day or so.
