Hi, can anyone explain why the same Verge3D app looks different(a lot darker) on IOS?

when viewing my app on PC and android, everything is fine but on IOS it looks a lot darker.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

do you have shadows on your scene? if so, try disabling them and see if it makes a difference

    Hi Yuri,

I don’t have shadows from lights, I only use an hdr environment map plugged in the background slot and a self-illuminating sphere.
    you can check the link

    Hi Jean-Philippe,

Thank you for the link, it’s a quality work!

We indeed are reproducing this issue on our iOS devices. Can you help us narrow this issue down? Please isolate the buggy part in a simple application and attach the zip archive here. Thanks!

    Hi Yuri,

Thank you, I attached the application folder with only this bottle.

For the glass material, I wanted to use the 2-Sided option to see the bottom of the bottle but there were many artifacts. Then I tried the Rendering Order but I’m not sure how to use it correctly in this situation

I needed a Double-Sided material node for the label but this is only available in the scanline renderer. Is there an alternative for Physical Materials?

The Max file is in the next message

    Hi,
thanks for the scene sources. We were able to find the root of the issue. Your HDR map has 1500×750 size. This won’t work well on iOS devices which support older WebGL 1.0 technology only. You should use so-called POT (power-of-two) textures: 2048×1024 or 1024×512.
