    Hello there,
I’d like to have some basic UV manipulation puzzles within Verge3D.
    – For use with object creation, for ex.
    – For being able to use the morpher (3dsmax) without texture stretching.

I’ve tried using “UVmap Scaler” modifyer, not working
I’ve tried using controllers for UV tiling : only works with regular shaders, not USD ones (USD shaders are needed to use iOS AR)

I’m now trying to create some swimming pools, with possibility to change the size of the surrounding wood / stone tiles. So i’ve used the morpher, as seen in the laste tutorial series (great ones btw), but the texture stretches itslf when morpher is used.
To be a bit more difficult, i need the dragged / scaled object to be booleaned to be holed where the water is to be.

So, some UVmap (planar / box) should be usefull, or a simple UVxform (to change offset / tile / size… Or some way to get this controller working with USD shaders.

    Thank you, Happy 2024 !

    Hi Claudio,

We’ll soon publish a tutorial how to fix UV stretching. It’ll be Blender but should work for 3ds Max also.

Hi Yuri, be aware that the tools used with Blender for UVs are not necessary working with 3dsmax.
As i’ve asked this UV once on the forum, and a Blender user answered me about a kind of UVmap that works with Blender, but not with 3dsmax.

Let’s be optimistic and wait for the tutorial, but i’m quite sceptical for this.

Also, it would be soooo great if the las tutorial series (the cabinet one) could be adapter to 3dsmax ;-)
    Best regards.
