Is there any difference between the verge 3d gltf export/import for Blender & the one comes with Blender preinstalled?

There are significant differences. The camera , lights and I believe some materials components are added to the V3D version among other things. One of the easiest ways to think about it is the Blender GLTF export is sort of like a OBJ export. You get the model and the textures…thats it. The V3D GLTF exporter enables the file to contain far more information to allow us to have greater control/interactivity.

I havent looked yet but I am sure its in the dev docs somewhere.

hmmmm, I was having the almost similar feeling about it. Got it.
I hope geometry data doesnt change in both only some additions are made with V3D format.

    Hi,
Indeed, glTF files generated by Verge3D contain a lot more than simple geometry with PBR materials. See this wiki article for a list of extensions we designed and supported in Verge3D.
