    When I export with LZMA compression I sometimes get the error “An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host”. The GLTF file gets compressed but the BIN file doesn’t. When I load the project the model opens but there is no global illumination. Hard to say what else is missing because the scene is black except for emission shaders. I’ve tried compressing it with 7zip after the fact but that doesn’t work, I suppose because the file doesn’t get sent to the local host(?)

    Hi,

    how big is your .bin file?

    Oh, it’s huge. 365,501 KB. I know this is well beyond what’s recommended, but it works, at least without compression. Is there a hard limit?

    You might try editing the file manager/server.py, where you can find the line

    SERVER_MAX_BODY_SIZE = 256*1024*1024

    Try changing 256 to 512, for example, and be sure to restart Blender or the standalone App Manager.
