    As the title really, I’m trying to evenly distribute objects along a line and I want the spacing to remain even as the line increases and decreases in size, kind of emulating the array modifier but with puzzles

    Use loop and math puzzles.

    Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

    If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.
