I have a sliding door object that slides out of the way when clicked and closes again when you click it again. That part works fine, however clicking in the now empty door frame still triggers the door to close even though the geometry is no longer there.

I want objects behind the door to be clickable when the door is open, which doesn’t work if the door is clickable as if it were closed regardless of the animation state.

    can you show your puzzles?
Try turning on xray mode for the when clicked puzzle of the door.

I’ve tried x-ray and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.

I will look into this tongiht…and get back to you.
What version of Blender and what version of V3D are you using?

If you just move the cube…you don’t have this problem but based you moving an armature should not be an issue buy the way you have it .. there is one. So need some time to find out the why.

Ok…well…something is definately not working with respect to a playanimation puzzle when trying to play a armature animation.

There is good news though…you still have ways to do this:

If you have to use an armature you can use the the animate parameter method shown in the attached image…it uses the same base structure as your existing puzzles so it should work with no issue.
Alternatively, depending your your application, you might be able to:
    – animate the object and not the armature and use the play animation puzzle.
    – bake your armature actions and use the play animation

Good luck…still not sure why the bounding box is not moving with the armature?

Hopefully someone reading this thread might know and lets us know too.
