I’m really enthusiastic about Verge3D 2.9.2 with much nicer shadows, really nice bloom post-processing possibilities, and so on, and so on.
However ambient occlusion still doesn’t work as desired. I tried many settings…
With rigged objects with animation, it creates a phantom occlusion of the “rest position” of the rigged model.
    See attachment.
    Hopefully, this can be solved.

I also noticed that when I enable ambient occlusion at both Blender side and puzzles, some jagged edges appear on the objects. Not sure if there is a parameter that I have to set differently to avoid that.

    Hi,

some jagged edges appear on the objects

Yep, we fixed that in 2.10 pre2

Thanks! I’ve updated to 2.10 pre2, and it looks better, but based on the parameters you set for the ambient occlusion puzzle, it may still show the jagged edges.

SSAO is definitely requires improvements. This effect is also very costly so I’d not recommend using it for now.
