    Hi,
    ive tried to export empties on the mesh surface where i want to place objects, ive tried exporting the actual objects as instances, but the export becomes extremely time consuming, and the .gltf file heavy, when reaching for up to 100 000 empties.

    can i in puzzles, clone a object and repeat it on the surface of another mesh?

    I want to create a large forest, and have a system were the visibility of the trees is based on distance to the camera.

    Hi,
    You can use the clone object puzzle to make instances and raycast to position them on your mesh (to calculate the require point of intersection between the ray and the geometry).
