2025-01-09 at 5:11 pm #79742Brameister ParticipantJust how does one go about achieving this level of quality with awesome performance in webgl? I’ve tried and learned so much about materials and optimization in Blender, but still can’t come even close to something like this: 2025-01-09 at 7:28 pm #79746 solidCustomer2025-01-09 at 9:34 pm #79747 solidCustomer2025-01-09 at 9:34 pm #79747Brameister ParticipantSure, but did you put them both side by side? There’s no comparison. The quality of the first one is outstanding 2025-01-09 at 11:10 pm #79749 xeonCustomer xeonCustomerWhat do you see as the quality difference? Is it the reflection maps, lighting, the bloom, the modeling? From what I see the three js version has a higher mesh density gem, higher bloom setting, different lighting and a different reflection map. Other than that… I would think you could get these same results in V3D. Xeon

Is it the reflection maps, lighting, the bloom, the modeling? The main difference is the caustics effect. In r3f, this is a basic component, whereas in Verge3D, there are fewer advanced features available, and it requires custom development. 2025-01-10 at 2:37 am #79752 QiangGeParticipant QiangGeParticipantJust how does one go about achieving this level of quality with awesome performance in webgl? Is it the reflection maps, lighting, the bloom, the modeling? Basically everything. I see a much sharper image, like it is being rendered in Cycles. The bloom is much more balanced, there also seems to be an autofocus and depth of field feature of some kind, reflections are so much better. You guys really don’t see a huge difference? Here’s a side-by-side Attachments:2025-01-13 at 1:44 am #79785
